Cookie Policy

Last updated · June 2026

In short

We use the minimum cookies needed to keep the studio running and to process payments securely. Anything beyond that is optional and we will ask first.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies like localStorage to save your studio preferences. We refer to all of these as "cookies" in this policy.

Cookies we use

Essential cookies

Purpose · Keep you signed in, remember your studio session, and protect against fraud. The studio cannot work without these.

Examples · sb-access-token, sb-refresh-token (Supabase auth)

Consent · No consent needed (strictly necessary).

Functional storage

Purpose · Remember your preferences (theme, last room visited, drafts of your work) so the studio behaves the way you set it up.

Examples · localStorage entries used by the studio

Consent · No consent needed (strictly necessary for the feature you used).

Payment cookies

Purpose · Set by Stripe when you visit the membership or checkout pages, to process payment securely and prevent fraud.

Examples · __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid

Consent · Required to take payment. Set only when you reach checkout.

Analytics (if enabled)

Purpose · Help us understand which rooms are useful and where the studio can be improved. Aggregated, never used to identify you personally.

Examples · Anonymous page-view counters

Consent · Optional. We will ask before setting these.

How to control cookies

You can clear or block cookies at any time using your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will sign you out and stop the studio from working. To clear locally-stored studio drafts, clear your browser's site data for maisonfounder.com.

Third parties

Some cookies are set by third parties we rely on - Supabase (authentication) and Stripe (payments). Their own privacy notices govern how they use any data they receive.

Changes

If we add new cookies or change how existing ones are used, we'll update this page and, where appropriate, ask for your consent again.
